Terms of Service
The short, fair terms for taking part.

These terms are an agreement between you and GeoffMedia LLC (“GeoffMedia,” “we,” “us”), which operates hAIve Chi (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don’t use the Service.
What the Service is
hAIve Chi gives everyone the same question each day. You may submit one word per question. When the day closes, the collected words are interpreted together into a shared reveal, and you can see where your word landed and a personal monthly recap. There is no account, password, or login — your participation lives in your browser.
Using it fairly
You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose. In particular, you agree not to:
- submit unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content, or content that isn’t yours to submit;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to submit answers, or otherwise attempt to skew, flood, or game the collective result;
- probe, disrupt, or attempt to breach the Service, its security, or other participants’ privacy;
- copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its reveals except as we expressly allow.
We may limit or end access for anyone who misuses the Service.
Your submission and the reveal
The point of hAIve Chi is that the day’s words become something shared. By submitting a word, you grant GeoffMedia a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it as part of the collective — in that day’s reveal, in the archive, and in any works built from the aggregate results — counted alongside everyone else’s and never presented as yours by name. You keep any rights you have in your own word; you are simply allowing it to be part of the crowd. Don’t submit anything you don’t have the right to share.
Our content and marks
The Service itself — the site, the software, the daily reveals and artwork, the hAIve Chi name and logo — belongs to GeoffMedia or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don’t give you rights to them beyond using the Service as intended.
Email and phone
Giving an email address or phone number is optional and is only a way for us to send you the daily question or an optional reveal note. It is not a login. You can unsubscribe at any time using a message’s link or by writing to us. How we handle this information is described in our Privacy Policy.
“As is,” and limits
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and each day’s reveal is an automated interpretation, not a statement of fact.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GeoffMedia will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD 100.
Changes
We may update the Service or these terms. When we change the terms we’ll update the date above and, for material changes, note it on the site. Continuing to use hAIve Chi after a change means the updated terms apply. We may also add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Wyoming will have jurisdiction over any dispute, to the extent permitted by law.
